Handmade Leis

On the Hawaiian Islands, giving a lei at graduation is a long-standing tradition, a wish for good luck and to show the graduate how much they are loved and appreciated.  This custom has become much more widespread and has been adopted by many West High families.  By giving a lei to a graduate, you become a part of this festive tradition that is fun for both the giver and the recipient.
 

A talented group of West High Entertainment Unit Parent Association (WHEUPA) parents and students has been making and selling keepsake-quality handmade leis since 2006.  All proceeds STAY with West High Band & Color Guard.

We sell our leis both online and in-person at various West High school events. If you order online, you can pick up your lei(s) at one of our in-person events, or you can pay to have your order shipped to you via USPS. Please consider visiting one of our sales tables to choose from alternative WHS color combinations, different greens, blues, pinks, purples, and many college colors that we simply don’t have room to show on the website. We may also have a limited number of additional styles of leis that are only available to purchase at the sales table.

All leis are available in LIMITED quantities – please purchase early for best selection!
Per school policy, no leis may be worn during the Graduation ceremony.
West High School colors are Brown & Gold.  The graduation gown is brown.
