2013 European Tour

WHEU toured Europe in the summer of 2013 which included over 140 students, parents and instructors. The Unit spent 15 amazing days traveling through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Italy. Despite heatwave conditions throughout Europe, the Unit performed in Paris, Brussels, Heidelberg and Innsbruck to the delight of hundreds of spectators. As a surprise bonus, the travelers were in Paris as the Tour de France was coming to a close. Many of the WHEU tour participants were able to view the amazing conclusion of the race as the cyclists rounded the Arch de Triumph as they headed towards the finish line. All in all, it was an amazing adventure.

Two of our band parents Amy Fuermann and Desmond Tamaki kept daily blogs of The Unit travels from their perspective. Here is a link to the blogs for you to read and enjoy. Thanks Amy and Desmond!
